What is an Inflatable Latex Body Bag?

An inflatable latex body bag is one of the most immersive pieces of latex bondage equipment available — combining full-body enclosure with the unique sensation of controlled inflation. Here's everything you need to know.

What is it?

A latex body bag is a sealed rubber enclosure designed to encase the wearer from neck (or head) to toe. Unlike a standard sleeping bag or restraint, a latex body bag is made from premium sheet rubber and forms a near-airtight seal around the body.

The inflatable version takes this further: built-in air bladders or chambers allow the bag to be inflated around the wearer, creating a firm, enveloping pressure across the entire body. The level of inflation — and therefore the intensity of the experience — is fully adjustable.

How does it work?

Inflation is controlled via one or more valves, typically positioned at the side or base of the bag. A hand pump or electric pump is used to introduce air into the bladder, which expands to press firmly against the wearer's body. Deflation is equally simple — release the valve and the pressure drops immediately.

Our body bags are designed with safety in mind: valves are accessible from outside the bag, and the zip entry allows for quick exit at any time.

Styles available

  • Solo body bag — designed for single-person use, with the wearer fully enclosed and a partner controlling inflation from outside.
  • Deluxe body bag with medical mask — includes an integrated inflatable medical-style mask for additional sensory immersion and controlled breathing.
  • Bespoke made-to-measure — for those who want a perfect fit, our body bags are available as fully custom pieces tailored to your exact measurements.

What to expect from first use

The sensation of a latex body bag is unlike anything else — the combination of full enclosure, the smell and feel of rubber, and the progressive pressure of inflation creates an intense, deeply immersive experience.

For first-time users, we recommend starting with minimal inflation to get comfortable with the sensation before gradually increasing pressure. Always use with a trusted partner who can monitor your comfort and release the zip or valves quickly if needed.

Safety considerations

  • Never use a latex body bag alone.
  • Establish a clear signal or safe word before use.
  • Ensure the person inside can communicate or signal at all times.
  • Keep sessions to a comfortable duration, especially when starting out.
  • Check valves and seams regularly for wear.

Care and maintenance

After use, clean the bag thoroughly with warm water and a mild latex-safe cleaner, dry fully, and store deflated in a cool, dark place. See our full latex care guide for detailed instructions.
